Life has an ugly way of tainting our perspective. Every second is filled with thoughts and feelings. Much of our struggle comes from making our thoughts and feelings bigger than life. In reality there is only one that is bigger than life…Jesus.
Scripture says, “Magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
In all honesty we can’t make Jesus any bigger, but what we can do is look at him through the lens of a sinner needing a savior. He is bigger than anything we face. The more we focus on his greatness the less our thoughts and feelings have power over us.
It’s time we stop making mankind’s sin condition the focal point and lift up the Son of God for who he is. The Way, the Truth, and the Life that we all long for. Join with others as we exalt, lift up, and magnify the Lord the author and finisher of our faith, the giver of life, and the savior that sets the captive free.
