What if the way you’re living right now is quietly robbing you of the life God designed?
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15–16, ESV)
Too many of us settle for less than what God intended. We drift through days, chase distractions, and let culture set our priorities. But Scripture calls us to live wisely and fully, making the most of every opportunity. You weren’t created for mediocrity, you were made for this.
Faith: Your Anchor in the Storm
The Ramirez family had every excuse to give their faith less attention. Between school schedules, sports practices, and work stress, their time felt maxed out. But one night, instead of collapsing in front of the TV, they opened their Bibles together at the dinner table. It wasn’t polished, but it was powerful. Over time, their kids began asking questions, and prayer became natural instead of awkward. Faith became their anchor, not an afterthought. “Without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Hebrews 11:6, ESV).
Family: Your First Ministry
For years, Mark Ramirez thought of church ministry as what he did at the building on Sundays. But when he began to see his home as his primary mission field, everything changed. He started blessing his kids with intentional words, praying with his wife before bed, and discipling his teenagers through everyday conversations. Their family grew stronger, not because they were perfect, but because they treated one another as their first and most important ministry. “These words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Deuteronomy 6:6–7, ESV).
Fitness: Your Strength to Serve
Angela Ramirez used to joke about not having time for exercise, but she realized her constant fatigue was keeping her from serving her family and church. She and Mark began walking together after dinner. It became their space to talk, pray, and recharge. Their physical health improved, but even more, their spiritual conversations grew. Stewarding their bodies gave them strength and clarity for God’s mission. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you… So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20, ESV).
Finances: Your Heart on Display
The Ramirez family also wrestled with finances. At one point, debt felt crushing. But they committed to aligning their money with God’s purposes, giving first, saving second, and spending wisely. It wasn’t easy, but slowly they saw freedom take root. Their kids noticed generosity becoming normal, not forced. They learned that where their treasure went, their hearts followed (Matthew 6:21, ESV). Their finances became more than bills and budgets, they became tools for kingdom impact.
Step Into the Challenge
This is your moment to step into the life God designed. Don’t waste another day. Grab two or three others, commit to read Made For This together, and challenge one another to realign faith, family, fitness, and finances around the gospel.
Imagine if every family in our church lived this way. Faith would deepen. Homes would be transformed. Bodies would be strengthened for service. Finances would be freed for mission. And neighborhoods across our city would begin to see the difference.
You were made for more than survival. You were made to live fully for Christ. Step in, lean deep, and invite others along for the journey. The time is now.
