Dear Family and Friends,
Hello! We are writing to share an update on a journey God began in our hearts last year. This summer, our family (Chad, Deanna, Jude – 16, and Ian – 13) is returning to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to continue the work we started, and we would love for you to join us in this second chapter!
Last summer was a powerful season of growth for us as a family. We saw firsthand the spiritual hunger in Calgary and the incredible potential of the local church to meet it. As we’ve continued to pray, we feel a clear calling to return and build upon the relationships and foundations laid during our last trip.
The Mission: Round Two
In July we will once again partner with Grace City Church South Calgary. This church plant is no longer “brand new,” but it is still growing rapidly in a community that is deeply post-Christian. We will be back on the ground leading the Vacation Bible School and Sports Camp, reconnecting with the kids and families we met last year, and engaging in local outreach.
Why Calgary?
The need remains just as urgent. With less than 4% of the population professing faith in Jesus, Calgary is a strategic mission field. Because it is a global hub for families moving to Canada, we have the chance to share the gospel with people from all over the world in one city. Returning allows us to move past “first introductions” and dive deeper into intentional discipleship with the people there.
Partner With Us
A mission like this is a team effort. We are reaching out to our former partners and seeking new ones to join us in two vital ways:
- Prayer – This is our greatest need. Please pray for the hearts of the children in Calgary, for the endurance of the Grace City staff, and for our family as we step out in faith again.
- Financial Support – The total cost for our family of four is $6,000. This covers our travel, ministry supplies for the camp, and outreach materials. This year, we are simplifying our support process. You can give directly to our mission fund via Venmo.
